USAGE OF VARIABLES:

1. Date can be temporarily stored in one or more variables for use when validating date input for processing dates in the Date Flow Process.
2. Manipulation of stored values: Variables can be used for calculations and other data manipulations without accessing the database.
3. Reusability: Once declared can be used repeated by, even in other blocks.
4.  Ease of Maintenance: 

            a) Variables can be declared basing on the declarations on the definitions of database columns.
             b)Provide data independence, reduces maintenance costs and allows programs to adapt as the
                database changes.
